I really enjoyed using the different mediums on different papers. My favourites were the wrapping paper, simply because of the contrast in the pattern compared to the object. I think the watercolour pencil was great at achieving the details on shadows and the painted design. I was also pleased with the acrylic on textured thick paper.

A fun exercise to go straight in with the medium with no prep of a sketch before hand. Trusting and experimenting with different paper and tools to create an illustration on the same object over and over was interesting. Towards the end I felt like I didn't need to look at the object, i was able to draw most from memory!
